Please refer to the information below when contacting a CUSO advisor:

You are being referred to CUSO Financial Services, LP (CFS), a brokerage firm providing non-deposit investment products and services at America First Credit Union. CFS and America First have an agreement whereby the credit union may refer potential investment clients to CFS. To follow are details about this endorsement:

  • The credit union is not a current investment client of CFS and is not affiliated with CFS.
  • The credit union provides CFS with resources for investment services delivery. As a result, the credit union will receive compensation from CFS if you establish an investment advisory account with CFS or engage CFS for financial planning services.
  • The credit union will receive up to 42% net of fees, expenses, and overhead of investment advisory fees or financial planning fees paid to CFS. The credit union will receive these fees for as long as you maintain an investment advisory relationship with CFS.
  • You do not pay higher investment advisory or financial planning fees because of what is paid to the credit union.
  • The credit union has a conflict of interest as defined by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) because it has a financial incentive to recommend that you establish an investment advisory relationship with CFS to assist with investment goals.
  • The Credit Union may compensate certain Credit Union employees to refer potential clients to CFS for investment advisory services. This creates a conflict of interest because the Credit Union employee receives a $10 one-time payment per referral if the potential client attends a meeting with CFS. The Credit Union employee receives the payment even if the potential client does not establish an investment advisory relationship with CFS.
  • The credit union is not authorized to provide investment advice on behalf of CFS.
